About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Operations Specialist within Consumer, Small & Business Banking (CSBB) to join the Regional Services Business Support team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide business support to the Regional Services team, ensuring seamless execution of daily operations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert regarding branch/retail banking operations, providing guidance and support to team members.
  • Respond to escalations from the Regional Services team in a timely manner, adhering to service level agreements and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Execute ad-hoc tasks such as preparing presentations, reporting, and projects, utilizing business knowledge and critical thinking skills.
  • Participate in planning and executing a variety of programs, services, and initiatives, monitoring key indicators to ensure effective performance and control management of assigned operations or business groups.
  • Review and analyze business initiatives, including policy or process changes, process improvements, technology enhancements, and identify efficiencies and cost savings opportunities.
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment, developing an understanding of policies and procedures, best practices, and initiatives.
  • Collaborate and consult with mid-level managers or cross-functional business partners, providing work direction to less experienced staff members.
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ months of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and understanding of branch operations and processes, including operational risk management.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Ability to manage complex data and reporting projects, requiring coordination of resources at different levels and LOBs.
  • Experience using business knowledge and critical thinking, with a strong understanding of banking regulations, compliance, policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Job Expectations:
  • Flexibility to adhere to a work schedule in accordance with the Central and Eastern time zones.
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule, providing flexibility and work-life balance.
  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position, and this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
