In this role as Sous Chef at Brookdale Paulin Creek, you'll play a critical part in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our residents. With a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, you'll work closely with our culinary team to develop and implement menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary needs.
About the Role:
The Sous Chef is responsible for assisting the chef in overseeing the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service. This includes ensuring compliance with sanitation and food safety regulations, managing inventory, and coordinating meal preparation.
To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Current ServSafe Certification and local/state food handling licenses are also necessary.

Brookdale offers a competitive salary range of $20.75 - $25.94 per hour, depending on experience.
