Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Princeton Tool Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous operation and optimal performance of all production, tooling, development, inspection, and facilities machines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks on production equipment, including EDM, CNC, Lathes, Manual Mills, Surface Grinders, Snag Grinders, Water Jets, and Air Handlers.
  • Identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and/or schedule a repair to minimize downtime on machines and equipment.
  • Prioritize tasks and respond promptly to emergency or critical maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area.
  • Perform general electrical work on facilities and equipment.
  • Repair/replace broken, faulty, or leaking plumbing.
  • Assist in the installation or removal of new and used equipment.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to extend the lifespan of the machines.
  • Identify safety concerns and inform the Facilities Manager.
  • Assist with facilities projects or improvements.
  • Operate forklift and scissor lift to complete maintenance tasks (after completion of forklift safety training).
  • Modify and fabricate parts by use of welding, cutting, grinding, milling, and lathe work.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a production environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to work with various hand and power tools to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Must be proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues.
  • Must be able to climb, bend, lay, kneel, stand for extended periods of time, and work from ladders or lifts.
  • Lift up to 75 lbs. as required. Most parts/materials can be handled using other methods.
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently as well as with a team.
  • Degree, technical certification, or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is preferred.
