About Princeton Tool Inc.

Princeton Tool Inc., a leading manufacturer of precision tools and equipment, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuous operation and optimal performance of our production, tooling, development, inspection, and facilities machines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks on various equipment, including EDM, CNC, Lathes, Manual Mills, Surface Grinders, Snag Grinders, Water Jets, and Air Handlers.
  • Identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and/or schedule a repair to minimize downtime on machines and equipment.
  • Prioritize tasks and respond promptly to emergency or critical maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area.
  • Perform general electrical work on facilities and equipment.
  • Repair/replace broken, faulty, or leaking plumbing.
  • Assist in the installation or removal of new and used equipment.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to extend the lifespan of the machines.
  • Identify safety concerns and inform the Facilities Manager.
  • Assist with facilities projects or improvements.
  • Operate forklift and scissor lift to complete maintenance tasks (after completion of forklift safety training).
  • Modify and fabricate parts by use of welding, cutting, grinding, milling, and lathe work.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a production environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to work with various hand and power tools to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Must be proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues.
  • Must be able to climb, bend, lay, kneel, stand for extended periods of time, and work from ladders or lifts.
  • Lift up to 75 lbs. as required. Most parts/materials can be handled using other methods.
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently as well as with a team.
  • Degree, technical certification, or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is preferred.
