Civil Rights Database Des & Analysis Manager

The University of New Mexico seeks a detail-oriented and self-motivated professional to manage and maintain the Compliance Hotline, EthicsPoint, and act as a System Administrator, ensuring consistency and integrity of data across the UNM enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain the Compliance Hotline, EthicsPoint, and System Administrator responsibilities
  • Oversee the collection and reporting of complex and nuanced civil rights and Clery Act-related compliance information
  • Interpret data, including statistical values, and provide advice and consultation regarding its implications
  • Make recommendations for adjustments, conduct needs assessments, design and create databases, and participate in testing and implementation of new applications and/or enhancements and modifications to existing systems
  • Provide assistance and training to EthicsPoint system users
  • Run reports for CEEO on a regular and as-needed basis to communicate data to a wide variety of campus stakeholders
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED; at least 7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis
  • Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, intermediate to advanced experience in HTML, Banner, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, SharePoint, Active Directory, Adobe Suite, knowledge of PC troubleshooting, demonstrated knowledge of structured programming, testing, and debugging techniques, demonstrated ability to design and implement systems necessary to collect, maintain, and analyze data, demonstrated ability to implement and troubleshoot programming changes and modifications, demonstrated data analysis reporting and presentation, ability to supervise and train assigned staff, regulatory knowledge of civil rights laws, Title IX regulations, equal opportunity policies, and compliance standards relevant to higher education, and sensitivity awareness of issues related to discrimination, harassment, and equal opportunity
