Job Summary

Solventum is seeking a highly skilled Medical Policy and Coding Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of medical records and coding systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate and apply software modules related to coding and training
  • Collaborate with coding and clinical team members and external clients to create content
  • Present clinical and coding concepts to various hospitals and/or organizations
  • Implement and support Clinical Documentation Integrity programs in multiple facilities
  • Lead audit tasks of medical record coding, documentation, compliance, and DRG assignment
  • Participate in relevant corporate programs/initiatives and ensure professional, quality, and security standards are complied with
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Seven (7) years of experience as a coding professional or clinical experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in HIM, Nursing, or other healthcare clinical background (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Experience with telecommuting, working with EMRs, and other electronic tools
  • Knowledgeable in 3M HIS software portfolio (360 Encompass)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office programs
