Digital Asset Management Systems Support Specialist

About the Position

This part-time position will provide support to the Division of Marketing & Communications staff in the workflow and logistics of digital asset management. The successful candidate will work closely with the Associate Director for Operations and IT to ensure the efficient management of digital assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter, review, and correct metadata for new and existing assets in the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Assist the DAM team with the evaluation and creation of documentation used for user training and system governance.
  • Support the DAM team with workflows in project management systems, including training schedules, user management, and asset and license requests.
  • Assist with asset ingestion processes, including file naming and organization standards, default metadata, and uploading original and versioned assets into the DAM.
  • Research asset requests in the DAM system and film archives.
  • Migrate content from outside sources into the DAM, including evaluating, organizing, digitizing, tagging, and adding metadata to assets.
  • Assist the DAM team with the maintenance of current and archival photo and video assets, including filing of film, likeness releases, and other assets.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a high level of computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office, Safari or Chrome web browser, Adobe Creative Suite, and the ability to learn digital asset, workflow, and film digitization software systems. Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines are essential.
