Join Our Team
We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Therapist LCSW to join our Substance Use, Motivation, Medication Integrated Treatment (SUMMIT) team.
As a Behavioral Health Therapist LCSW, you will provide short-term therapy to patients experiencing homelessness and substance use, as well as crisis triage evaluation of patients during medical visits.
Therapy will include providing clinical interventions using short-term treatment with individuals, teens, families, and groups, as well as crisis intervention and assessment at the Venice Family Clinic.
This role may involve supervising graduate students and working closely with medical staff, case management staff, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide short-term therapy to patients experiencing homelessness and substance use
- Crisis triage evaluation of patients during medical visits
- Provide clinical interventions using short-term treatment with individuals, teens, families, and groups
- Crisis intervention and assessment at the Venice Family Clinic
- Supervise graduate students (if applicable)
Requirements
- Master's Degree from an accredited School of Social Work or Social Welfare
- CA State licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Excellent communication skills and bilingual in both Spanish and English
- Demonstrated work experience in providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy
- Demonstrated work experience with adults, young families, pregnant women, and teens, and patients experiencing homelessness
Salary Range
$62.08 hourly
