Job Overview
As a Kitchen Supervisor at GetGo Café + Market, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing kitchen team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales growth. You will oversee food preparation, quality control, and inventory management, ensuring a seamless and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of kitchen staff to achieve sales and customer satisfaction targets.
- Develop and implement effective kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and food safety protocols.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
- Collaborate with store management to achieve sales and profit goals, and provide input on menu development and pricing.
- Train and develop kitchen staff to improve skills and knowledge, and promote a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering open communication and teamwork among kitchen staff.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the food service industry.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and achieving sales and customer satisfaction targets.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
