Job Overview
As a Kitchen Supervisor at GetGo Café + Market, you will be responsible for leading a team of culinary professionals to deliver exceptional food service to our customers. Your primary focus will be on maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring that all food products meet our high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff on food preparation, presentation, and service standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage food costs to ensure profitability.
- Develop and implement menu items and promotions to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with the store leadership team to achieve sales and profit goals.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive team culture, fostering open communication and feedback.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in food service and hospitality.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
- Experience in food safety and sanitation procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
