Job Overview

As a Kitchen Supervisor at GetGo Café + Market, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing kitchen team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales growth. You will oversee food preparation, quality control, and inventory management, ensuring a seamless and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff to achieve sales and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Develop and implement effective kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and food safety protocols.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
  • Collaborate with store management to achieve sales and profit goals, and provide input on menu development and promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Train and develop kitchen staff to improve skills and knowledge, and provide coaching and feedback to enhance performance.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll administration for kitchen staff.
  • Participate in store meetings and contribute to the development of business strategies and initiatives.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the food service industry.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and achieving sales and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; food safety certification preferred.
