This position provides high-quality support services to the revenue cycle team at Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and verifying demographic and financial information, as well as providing excellent customer service to patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and enter demographic and financial information into the computer system for registration areas, including ambulatory services, ancillary departments, emergency room, urgent care, lab, and radiology.
- Collect point-of-service payments in accordance with department policy and practice.
- Adhere to customer service guidelines for the Patient Access Department and demonstrate excellent customer service delivery in daily interactions.
- Meet all business and compliance expectations of the department and CMH.
- Associate's Degree or equivalent hours and 1-2 years of experience in customer service, business office setting, or revenue cycle.
- HS diploma or equivalent and Two years of experience required in either a patient access or customer service role.
