Job Overview

MV Transportation is seeking a skilled Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our transportation contract. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a similar-sized fixed route/paratransit environment and possess strong leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage on-time performance and driver availability to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Oversee call center functions to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication and outreach programs.
  • Identify, select, train, and mentor location staff to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Collaborate with the support team to implement safety and training programs that meet company, contract, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Regularly review key operational metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Implement and promote company policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of management experience in a similar-sized fixed route/paratransit environment.
  • Experience in scheduling and personnel management, with a focus on training and development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of contractual obligations and company policies.
  • Trapeze experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced environment and maintain a valid Class B commercial driver's license with appropriate endorsements.
