Pediatric Diabetes Educator

About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Diabetes Educator to join our team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide safe, direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in the ambulatory setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership for staff and serve as a role model
  • Assist physician with special tests, procedures, and complex treatments
  • Process data and generate reports; assist in reception and discharge areas; handle patient calls and triage using documentation
Requirements:
  • Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer within 30 days
  • RN licensure in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement by New Mexico
Estimated Salary:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
