Job Overview

This part-time position in our dynamic Children's Svcs Admin team focuses on providing safe, direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in the ambulatory setting.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Diabetes Educator to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with families, assisting with new patient diagnoses, pump training, equipment troubleshooting, and case management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership for staff
  • Assume relief charge duties when designated
  • Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures
  • Patient care assignment may include neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups
Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A nationally accredited nursing graduate degree
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish (or one of the other approved languages)
  • Three years of directly related experience
Salary and Benefits
