Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Mortgage Loan Officer is responsible for identifying, establishing, and nurturing relationships with clients and referral partners, including real estate professionals and contractors. This role involves providing expertise in mortgage lending products and services to achieve and surpass lending objectives while ensuring loan quality and growth for the institution.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday-Friday, 8-5pm

Core Duties:
  • Market and sell residential loans through proactive outreach, including participation in community events and networking opportunities.
  • Conduct interviews with clients to gather financial information, including income, assets, and liabilities. Analyze this data to tailor solutions to client needs.
  • Educate clients on the pros and cons of various mortgage products.
  • Utilize every client interaction to inform them about additional services that may be beneficial.
  • Consistently seek client business opportunities.
  • Prepare loan applications accurately and in accordance with federal regulations and internal policies.
  • Support loan processing staff in managing loan applications, responding promptly to documentation requests.
  • Achieve personal production targets and contribute to the overall production goals of the organization.
  • Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources to ensure a steady flow of business.
  • Stay informed about current policies and compliance regulations related to mortgage lending.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new Mortgage Loan Officers.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from an accredited institution is preferred; 5-7 years of relevant experience in sales or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to interpret and utilize data for informed decision-making.
