Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Thermal Engineer to join our dynamic team at Jobot, supporting the space industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects that will push the boundaries of space exploration.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive thermal analysis and testing to support the design and development of advanced spacecraft systems.
Develop and implement thermal models for various applications within spacecraft systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure thermal considerations are integrated into overall system designs.
Lead the execution of thermal testing procedures, including setup, operation, and data analysis of thermal test equipment.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on thermal issues, as well as develop innovative solutions to complex thermal challenges.
Document and present thermal analysis results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in thermal engineering, with a focus on aerospace, automotive, or ideally spacecraft.
Proven experience in conducting thermal analysis and testing, and developing thermal models.
Strong knowledge of thermal engineering principles and practices, as well as a deep understanding of thermal dynamics in the context of manufacturing systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex thermal challenges.
Proficiency in using thermal analysis software and tools, and operating thermal test equipment.
