Robotics Coach Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Robotics Coach to join our team at St. Michael the Archangel High School. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our robotics program and guiding students in the design, building, and competition of robots.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive robotics curriculum that aligns with state and national standards
  • Recruit, train, and mentor students for robotics competitions
  • Design and build robots for local, regional, and state events
  • Supervise students during competitions and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement STEM education initiatives
  • Manage the administration of the robotics team, including registration for events and budgeting
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of robotics and computer programming
  • Experience in teaching and mentoring students
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to fostering a student-centered learning environment
