The Robotics Coordinator RN is a vital member of our surgical team, responsible for coordinating the robotics service line at Lee's Summit Medical Center. This role involves planning and preparing for robotic surgeries, ensuring the efficient delivery of care to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with experience in the operating room and a proven track record of working with robotic systems.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the robotics service line, including planning and preparing for robotic surgeries
- Ensure the efficient delivery of care to patients, including coordinating with surgeons and other healthcare professionals
- Oversee the use of robotics as a mechanism to deliver unique services in surgical care
- Plan for and oversee supplies, equipment, and instrumentation for the delivery of surgical care across the continuum in robotic surgery
- Education: BSN preferred
- Licensure/Certifications: Must have a current MO RN license upon hire or a current multistate RN license. If only a multistate RN license is provided upon hire, a MO RN license will be required within 90 days of employment. BLS required upon hire and ACLS within 6 months of hire.
- Experience: Previous Experience in the OR and one year of DaVinci experience required.
- Requirement: On Call Required and must have the ability to report to LSMC within 30 minutes of call back.
Lee's Summit Medical Center is an 80+ bed full-service hospital serving Lee's Summit and surrounding areas. Our services are supported by more than 300 physicians who represent more than 40 specialties. We have more than 500 highly trained colleagues and 60 volunteers. Our services and specialties include cardiology, cancer care, endoscopy, emergency services, imaging, neurology, pain management, and pulmonology. We offer physical therapy, speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, sports medicine, respiratory care, women's care, and an array of surgical services.
