Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a project schedule during the initial setup and subcontractor bidding phases that aligns with the overall project strategy and aids in estimating and subcontractor procurement.
  • Identify, monitor, and secure all necessary materials, ensuring timely delivery in accordance with the project timeline.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to address any lead-time challenges or setbacks, keeping all relevant stakeholders informed about project impacts.
  • Maintain up-to-date financial reports to swiftly recognize potential and existing issues.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors through effective communication regarding responsibilities, changes, and issues, ensuring timely follow-ups on requests.
  • Prepare, edit, proofread, and distribute detailed documents such as construction correspondence, contracts, submittal logs, RFI logs, and meeting minutes. Responsible for managing project documentation including expenses, contracts, lien waivers, and certificates of insurance.

Candidate Profile:

  • 1-5 years of experience in a superintendent role within the commercial construction industry
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with subcontractors and project team members
  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic construction environment
  • Proficient in multitasking
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
