Accounting Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities, ensuring the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the Accounts Payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices.
- Assist with Income Journal questions and validate data at month-end to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor outstanding receivables, intercompany billing, and reconciliation to ensure timely and accurate collection of payments.
- Oversee collection and reconciliation of cash and monitor shortages to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Verify owner's revenue statements and perform payments monthly to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Perform all billing for HOA Assessments quarterly and monitor outstanding balances to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Conduct HOA bank and general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements for HOA to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in the production of annual 1099s to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in annual external audit to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Maintain accounting standards with established Standard Operating Procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Follow policies to ensure the preservation of hotel assets by using internal accounting controls and ensuring that all transactions are recorded properly in Resort's books and records.
- Ensure compliance with all Finance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Strive for continuous improvement and excellence in all areas of responsibility to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Experience in reviewing Financial Statements and Balance Sheet Reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Exceptional organizational skills to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with the day-to-day running of the department to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Experience in financial and accounting activities.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and procedures.
