The Digital Humanities Center at Barnard College is seeking up to three Graduate Assistants to support teaching and learning among digital humanities researchers. As a Graduate Assistant, you will be part of a collaborative community where faculty, students, and staff explore humanities research as data and implement digital methods to communicate research for public engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Design and lead workshops on digital humanities methods and tools, including website building, digital collections, and interactive storytelling.
- Mentor undergraduate researchers and support programming and events.
- Work closely with faculty and staff to develop and implement digital humanities projects.
- Currently enrolled in a graduate-level program in the humanities, humanistic social sciences, library and information science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in one or more digital humanities research methods or tools, such as data visualization, web design, or information architecture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
As a Graduate Assistant at Barnard College, you will receive a competitive stipend of $30 per hour and the opportunity to work with a talented team of scholars and professionals in the digital humanities field.
