Job Summary:
Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences (PNWU) seeks a mission-centric, skilled, collaborative human resources executive to serve as the University's next Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). The CHRO will serve as a senior advisor to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and an advisor to the executive team on all human capital related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the University has the talent, processes, and commitment necessary to grow and meet its mission.
- Manage a small staff of up to three HR professionals and provide management and guidance to ensure HR contributes to decisions on the overall strategy and direction of PNWU.
- Create a collaborative, strategic, and forward-looking HR function.
Requirements:
- Significant HR experience, technical skills, and knowledge combined with effective communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree required.
About PNWU:
Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences is a grassroots, non-profit health sciences university established in 2005 by a group of visionary community leaders in Washington's fertile Yakima Valley. The University offers degrees in Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, and Master of Arts in Medical Science, enrolling over 550 students annually.
