Job Summary

Amphenol PCD is seeking a Quality Inspector - Level II to join our team in Beverly, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming, in-process, and final products to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection results.
  • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvements and process enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical and electrical inspection skills, with attention to detail and ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with staff members at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other general software applications.
  • Ability to use basic measuring tools, such as calipers, protractors, and microscopes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Experience with quality control software, such as Macola or WinSPC.
  • Database management skills.

Physical Demands:

  • Sedentary work involving sitting and standing for extended periods.
  • Light to heavy physical activity, including lifting objects up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to operate machinery and power tools.
  • Use of ladders and stairs.
  • Repetitive movements of hands, wrists, and fingers.
