Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming, in-process, and final products to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection results.
- Investigate and resolve quality-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvements and process enhancements.
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical and electrical inspection skills, with attention to detail and ability to read engineering drawings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with staff members at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other general software applications.
- Ability to use basic measuring tools, such as calipers, protractors, and microscopes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Experience with quality control software, such as Macola or WinSPC.
- Database management skills.
Physical Demands:
- Sedentary work involving sitting and standing for extended periods.
- Light to heavy physical activity, including lifting objects up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to operate machinery and power tools.
- Use of ladders and stairs.
- Repetitive movements of hands, wrists, and fingers.
