College of Arts and Sciences - Department of Psychology
The Department of Psychology at the University of Miami is seeking applications for a full-time, tenure-eligible, or tenure-track faculty member to enhance our department's Health Division. We are particularly interested in candidates focusing on cardiovascular and/or metabolic health. Areas of expertise may include, but are not limited to, clinical or population research on stress and adversity processes, social determinants of health such as socioeconomic status, protective social and cultural factors, and biopsychosocial studies of cardiovascular/metabolic health or disparities, as well as foundational science including metabolomics.
We are looking for candidates who employ diverse methodologies to explore their research questions, including laboratory-based experimental psychophysiology, behavioral lifestyle interventions, psychosocial interventions, public health and population science approaches, and/or mobile health and digital assessment and intervention technologies. Candidates with interests in data science, particularly those utilizing advanced quantitative and qualitative methods, are encouraged to apply. The Department of Psychology is a dynamic, collaborative community that encompasses faculty across Adult, Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience, Child, and Health Divisions. Our mission is to acquire, advance, and disseminate knowledge within the Psychological and Biobehavioral Sciences, supported by excellent graduate programs and state-of-the-art facilities.
