Job Summary

The University of Miami is seeking highly qualified candidates for tenure-track faculty positions in Healthcare Engineering. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive community of scholars who will contribute to the advancement of knowledge in this field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a research program in Healthcare Engineering with a focus on one or more of the following areas: Cancer Engineering, Urologic Engineering, Neural Engineering, or Ophthalmic Engineering.
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Biomedical Engineering and related fields.
  • Contribute to the development of new research initiatives and collaborations with other departments and institutions.
  • Participate in departmental and university service activities.
Requirements
  • PhD or MD/PhD in engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Healthcare Engineering and a strong research record.
