Position Title: Postdoctoral Researcher in Psychology

Overview:
The Department of Psychology at the University of Miami is inviting applications for a full-time Postdoctoral Researcher position, focusing on a two-year project under the guidance of Dr. Amishi Jha. This role is dedicated to advancing neurobehavioral research examining the effects of mindfulness training on high-demand populations.

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a closely related discipline. A strong background in cognitive neuroscience and a proven record of academic publications are essential. Familiarity with advanced statistical techniques, particularly Hierarchical Linear Modeling (HLM), is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate on research studies pertinent to the field.
2. Facilitate the implementation and dissemination of scientific findings in partnership with a research team.
3. Utilize statistical methods to analyze extensive longitudinal data related to training outcomes.
4. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of cutting-edge principles and theories in the field.
5. Contribute to the body of scientific literature and present findings at conferences.

Specific Duties:
1. Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports for grant-supported initiatives.
2. Oversee Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions and manage study protocols.
3. Mentor undergraduate and graduate students involved in grant-funded research.
4. Actively share research findings through presentations, posters, and peer-reviewed publications.
5. Engage in collaborative, large-scale studies focusing on military and other high-demand groups.
