Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse RN - Adult

Job Summary:

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to provide high-quality care to adult patients in their homes. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will work closely with our patients and their families to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet their unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement physician-prescribed plans of care for adult patients
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
  • Provide health education and training to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions

Requirements:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
  • Reliable transportation
