Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse LPN to provide high-quality care to our adult patients in Fort Walton Beach. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will work one-on-one with our patients, providing personalized care and support to help them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Implementing physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conducting patient assessments and coordinating care
  • Administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Documenting care provided in our system of record
  • Providing health education and training to family members
  • Accepting and writing verbal orders from physicians, as required
  • Following up with physicians, clients, family members, and staff on client problems, concerns, and changes in client condition
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
  • Reliable transportation
