Job Summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to provide high-quality care to adult patients in the Fort Walton Beach area. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will work closely with our patients and their families to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet their unique needs.

Responsibilities

  • Implement physician-prescribed plans of care for adult patients
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with the healthcare team
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies as needed
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
  • Provide education and training to family members on patient care and health promotion
  • Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, patients, and families to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements

  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Florida
  • Current CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test (current within the last 12 months)
  • At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience
  • Reliable transportation
