Job Title: Private Duty Nurse LPN

Job Summary:

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse LPN to provide high-quality care to adult patients in their homes. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will work one-on-one with patients, providing personalized care and support to help them achieve their health goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement physician-prescribed plans of care for adult patients
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with healthcare teams
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
  • Teach and train family members on patient care and health promotion
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Requirements:

  • Active, unencumbered LPN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test (current within the last 12 months)
  • 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
