Job Summary:

Manhattan Beer Distributors is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to lead our retail sales efforts in the beverage industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales plans to maximize product sales and distribution in our assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve volume sales goals and trade contact development.
  • Lead and manage a multi-layered sales team to achieve branch and area sales, distribution, and merchandising goals.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with supplier personnel to execute sales and marketing plans.
  • Oversee quality assurance efforts and ensure successful execution of ABS programming by the sales team.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of sales management experience in a multi-layered sales organization.
  • Experience managing frontline and supervisory staff.
  • Sales experience in retail and consumer goods, with a strong plus for beverage and beer experience.
  • Intermediate ability with Microsoft Excel and Word, with a comfort level using apps and technology to deliver effective sales presentations.
  • Superior communication and relationship building ability.
