Job Description:
We are currently recruiting FTE Inventory Specialists to support the VHA Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) located at Chelmsford, MA. The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices. Responsibilities include performing tasks related to movement, restocking, and accounting of pharmaceutical items stored in various locations, compiling and maintaining accurate inventory records, identifying types of supplies and suggesting re-order points for revolving stock, and operating various types of pharmacy automation equipment.

Salary: $62,000 - $70,000 per year based on location and experience.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Inventory Management Professional to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional service underpinned by integrity and a commitment to partnership. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for pharmaceutical inventory management, collaborating with pharmacy staff to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent stockouts, and participating in regular inventory audits and reconciliations.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED), minimum of 4 years of experience in inventory management preferably in a healthcare or pharmaceutical setting, strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices, ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, proficiency in using computer systems and inventory management software, typing proficiency of minimum 45 words per minute, attention to detail and high degree of accuracy, strong organizational skills and ability to multitask, excellent communication skills both verbal and written, and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additionally, U.S. citizenship is required and you must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
