We are seeking a skilled Financial Fraud Protection Professional to join our team at USALLIANCE Federal Credit Union.

As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional support services related to fraud prevention, risk mitigation, quality control, compliance, and anti-money laundering.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will facilitate effective communication with internal stakeholders regarding Fraud CRM and service requests.
  • Conduct thorough analyses on transactional data to identify potential irregularities by leveraging industry norms, historical member activity, and regulatory definitions of suspicious activity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate potential fraudulent activity, utilizing the Credit Union's resources, including system software, reports, databases, and applications.
  • Review reports to determine if situations meet established criteria for investigating suspected fraudulent or problem accounts.
  • Prepare and submit Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), including investigations and filings.
  • Pursue recovery of losses resulting from fraud, theft, and embezzlement through diligent analysis and research.
  • In your absence, assume responsibilities of the Fraud Manager.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in fraud prevention strategy within the Financial Services industry.
  • Strong project management and data analysis skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create effective presentations.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with team members across various lines of business.
  • Familiarity with banking laws and regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act.
