About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisory Associate Director to join our team at Riveron Corp. As a key member of our Tax Advisory practice, you will partner directly with clients to help them navigate the dynamic tax challenges associated with mergers and acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead research and analysis related to a variety of M&A tax advisory, transactions, and strategic issues
  • Use tax technical knowledge to lead engagement teams in performing buy- and sell-side due diligence and developing tax-efficient acquisition and divestment structures
  • Partner directly with clients to support their needs by providing on-call tax-related transaction consultative services and delivering high-quality projects
  • Own planning of and successful delivery against project budget and workstreams
  • Participate actively in the development of junior team members by providing coaching and performance feedback, and fostering a team-based working culture
  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth and service expansion with existing clients
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting or Taxation
  • Minimum 7 years of combined experience in tax compliance and M&A advisory/consulting
  • Passion for developing client relationships and appetite for building new skills
  • Ability to get the job done and have fun doing it
  • Thrives in an ever-changing, dynamic work environment
  • Self-starter who readily identifies problems and instinctively looks for solutions
  • Critical thinking, analytical rigor, and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability and desire to travel as required based on client location
