Position Overview:

Raytheon Technologies is in search of a skilled professional in Program Management, Planning & Scheduling to join our esteemed Program Design & Planning team. This role is pivotal in the creation, upkeep, and evaluation of the Program Master Phasing Schedule along with the Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule. The selected candidate will develop a cohesive network and integrated workflow of scheduling activities to ensure a precise and effective plan is established for the designated scope of work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comprehend the technical and programmatic solutions of the project, collaborating with the program team to integrate these solutions into the IMS baseline plan, ensuring comprehensive alignment of cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of compliant Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) based on customer requirements, ensuring effective cost and schedule integration.
  • Support the team in ensuring that the program plan and IMS are developed in accordance with industry best practices and lifecycle standards, identifying inaccuracies or omissions in planned work.
  • Possess the ability to create and recommend various program management plans and artifacts to assist the program team in understanding and managing the plan effectively.
  • Conduct Schedule Risk Analysis and communicate results to program teams, integrating mitigation strategies into the IMS and risk management processes.
  • Provide regular planning metrics regarding schedule status, baseline maintenance, critical path analysis, and schedule variance analysis, utilizing appropriate Earned Value Management System processes.
  • Mentor and guide junior planners in best practices and methodologies.
Essential Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree coupled with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Program Planning, Scheduling, or Project Management, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in utilizing scheduling software such as MS Project, Primavera, or Open Plan.
  • Experience in developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and evaluating critical paths and workflows.
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar methodologies.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to effectively integrate and maintain technical, schedule, and cost elements within an EVMS framework.
  • Experience in interpreting and analyzing Schedule Risk Analysis results and schedule risk/opportunity drivers.
  • Understanding of hardware and software development life cycles, with exposure to agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead and educate teams on proper scheduling and EVMS techniques.
  • Ability to identify process improvements and collaborate with teams to devise solutions.
