Job Overview:

Position: Inventory Analyst I

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales management and representatives to ensure alignment on inventory strategies and project execution.
  • Engage with sales teams in the field to gain insights into operational needs and current inventory conditions.
  • Communicate consignment return processes and inventory management policies to sales personnel.
  • Monitor inventory levels proactively in partnership with sales and internal teams.
  • Implement policies regarding product expiration, including notifications and adjustments.
  • Prepare reports summarizing stock rotation and provide updates to sales management.
  • Address discrepancies in inventory in coordination with customer service and distribution teams.
  • Extract and analyze data from internal systems to support inventory management initiatives.
  • Ensure data accuracy within the ERP system.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills and diplomacy in interactions with sales representatives and customers.
  • Coordinate cycle count activities and resolve discrepancies identified in reports.
  • Support company initiatives related to Quality Management Systems and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration across all organizational levels.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree required; Bachelor's Degree in business administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with SAP/Business Objects is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Experience in customer service, purchasing, material management, or warehouse operations is preferred.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems or Material Requirements Planning is advantageous.
