Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our Occupational Health team at Kaiser Permanente. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the delivery of quality patient care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to meet patient needs.
  • Provide nursing and administrative support to clinicians and other healthcare team members, ensuring a seamless patient experience.
  • Perform clinical tasks and procedures under the direction of a clinician, utilizing your nursing knowledge and skills to provide exceptional care.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and modification of individualized patient plans of care, working closely with the healthcare team to ensure patient-centered care.
  • Utilize standardized tools to identify and address health maintenance and care gaps, ensuring patients receive timely and effective care.
  • Document all pertinent data and outcomes of nursing care in KP HealthConnect and other information systems, adhering to established procedures and policies.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Practical Nurse License (Washington) within 6 months of hire or Compact License: Practical Nurse within 6 months of hire.
  • Practical Nurse License (Oregon) within 6 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Demonstrated clinical nursing skills, interpersonal and customer service skills, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two (2+) years of nursing experience in an ambulatory care setting.
  • IV therapy experience or recent certification.
  • Familiarity with documenting in an electronic medical record system.
