Job Summary

As an LPN Occupational Health Specialist at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive care experience and work environment. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide nursing and administrative support to clinicians and other healthcare team members, ensuring a seamless delivery of healthcare services to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Tasks: Prepare patients for office visits, perform focused/limited nursing assessments and triage, and recognize signs and symptoms of common medical conditions.
  • Clinical Procedures: Perform diagnostic tests, therapies, and procedures within the scope of practice, maintaining proficiency and adhering to established policies and standards.
  • Practice Management Activities: Maintain and adjust patient schedules, respond to incoming messages, and facilitate follow-up duties on patients' plans of care.
Requirements
  • Competent focused/limited nursing assessment and triage skills
  • Critical thinking, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team
  • Proficiency in using standardized tools and information systems
