Key Responsibilities


As an Accounting Manager, you will undertake a broad range of financial responsibilities, including:

  • Supporting site facilities with monthly accounting and reporting.
  • Conducting financial analysis and addressing technical accounting issues.
  • Ensuring robust internal controls are in place.
  • Coordinating month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and trend research.
  • Assisting in the monthly cash flow forecasting process and developing annual operating plans for balance sheets and SG&A expenses.
  • Participating in physical inventories and monthly cycle counting, ensuring timely completion and accurate results.
  • Maintaining local ERP ledgers and reconciling them with Hyperion financial statements.
  • Performing and reviewing monthly account reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
  • Assisting with the preparation and submission of monthly and quarterly corporate reporting.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives in financial reporting processes and systems.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external audit teams for effective reporting.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior accounting staff.
  • Ensuring adherence to accounting policies and internal controls.
  • Contributing to special projects and analyses in collaboration with FP&A, Commercial, and Operations teams.
  • Traveling up to 5% as needed.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • 6+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred).
  • A results-driven, analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
  • The ability to work towards company goals in a creative and flexible environment.
