As an Accounting Manager, you will undertake a broad range of financial responsibilities, including:
- Supporting site facilities with monthly accounting and reporting.
- Conducting financial analysis and addressing technical accounting issues.
- Ensuring robust internal controls are in place.
- Coordinating month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and trend research.
- Assisting in the monthly cash flow forecasting process and developing annual operating plans for balance sheets and SG&A expenses.
- Participating in physical inventories and monthly cycle counting, ensuring timely completion and accurate results.
- Maintaining local ERP ledgers and reconciling them with Hyperion financial statements.
- Performing and reviewing monthly account reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of monthly and quarterly corporate reporting.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives in financial reporting processes and systems.
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external audit teams for effective reporting.
- Supervising and mentoring junior accounting staff.
- Ensuring adherence to accounting policies and internal controls.
- Contributing to special projects and analyses in collaboration with FP&A, Commercial, and Operations teams.
- Traveling up to 5% as needed.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- 6+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred).
- A results-driven, analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
- The ability to work towards company goals in a creative and flexible environment.
