Key Responsibilities- Assist with administrative tasks related to patient care, including data entry and verification of clinical reminders.
- Check patients in and out of the clinic, schedule appointments, and answer phones in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to veterans, colleagues, and clinic visitors, ensuring a positive and respectful experience.
- Support patient enrollment and retention initiatives, participating in outreach events and promoting clinic services.
- Embrace and support new initiatives, whether clinical or operational, to drive excellence in patient care and outcomes.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education
- Strong computer skills, EMR experience preferred
- Demonstrated high-quality customer service and organization skills
- Minimum 1-year experience in a clinical or call center environment (preferred)
- Certification in Basic Life Support and ACLS as specified by individual VAMC contract
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
