Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to patient care, including data entry and verification of clinical reminders.
  • Check patients in and out of the clinic, schedule appointments, and answer phones in a timely manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service to veterans, colleagues, and clinic visitors, ensuring a positive and respectful experience.
  • Support patient enrollment and retention initiatives, participating in outreach events and promoting clinic services.
  • Embrace and support new initiatives, whether clinical or operational, to drive excellence in patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education
  • Strong computer skills, EMR experience preferred
  • Demonstrated high-quality customer service and organization skills
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a clinical or call center environment (preferred)
  • Certification in Basic Life Support and ACLS as specified by individual VAMC contract
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
