We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Medical Mutual. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and stability of our assigned platforms, systems, and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensures the reliability and stability of assigned platforms, systems, and applications.
  • Completes technical tasks, troubleshoots issues, and provides off-hours support as part of a rotation.
  • Works towards specializing in an assigned area(s).
  • Provides consultation to non-system administrators, the development team, and infrastructure team on host system design and support.
  • Manages configuration and change control of host systems.
  • Communicates system trends, issues, and outages to management and peers.
  • Participates in rotational on-call schedules and Severity Level 1 and Crit Sit situations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-8 years of enterprise host systems administration experience, host configuration management, and production support.
  • Experience with operating system architecture, design, concepts, analysis, host system hardware, and LPAR/virtualization fundamentals.
  • Professional certifications in relevant host systems, such as A Security, Linux, VCP, CCA, HP ASE, MCSE, or MCITP.
