About the Role

As a Fleet Remediation Project Design Electrical Engineer at Amazon, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing electrical systems for our data centers. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design projects for operational data centers, focusing on remediation, upgrades, and new services.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to promote standards and consistency in data center design and operations.
  • Develop and implement electrical design solutions that meet customer needs and ensure data center availability and sustainability.
  • Interface with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Manage design and as-built drawings and documents, as well as prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year of design experience in industrial or commercial engineering, including data centers, power generation, and oil/gas facilities.
  • Strong engineering judgment and ability to provide design recommendations despite uncertainty.
  • Detail-oriented with familiarity with design and construction processes.
  • Experience managing engineering projects and consulting with external teams.
