Quality Assurance Manager Job Description

TriStarr's client is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the production of safe and high-quality products in their Las Vegas, NV facility.

This role is responsible for ensuring the company's products meet the highest standards of quality and consistency by implementing and managing quality assurance programs, policies, and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team of quality professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Lead a team of quality professionals to ensure the production of safe and high-quality products.
  • Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain quality procedures, policies, and standards.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Provide training and coaching to quality team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as quality assurance, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles, including HACCP, FSMA, and GFSI.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Certification in quality management, such as CQA or CQE.
  • Experience with quality management software, such as Presage or Margin Miner.
