About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer I to join our team at Bluberi. As a Quality Assurance Engineer I, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our operational processes and outputs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement quality standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and implement quality control systems to monitor and analyze quality performance.
  • Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
  • Collaborate with Operations team members to develop and implement controls and improvements.
  • Ensure that all quality workflows and processes comply with safety regulations.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot internal product or production issues.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, track, and communicate external product issues. Work with external vendors to provide a satisfactory resolution.
  • Develop corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.
  • Prepare and maintain a variety of reports, records, and logs. Effectively communicate quality data and metrics to Bluberi management.
Requirements
  • Degree in Quality, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or relevant experience in lieu.
  • 2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with Lean concepts and principles desired.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
  • Must be able to communicate at a high level in English.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • ASQ certification is a plus.
  • Prior exposure to casino gaming equipment is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Electronic Systems Testing: Experience in testing and troubleshooting electronic components such as circuit boards, wiring, power supplies, and sensors.
  • Mechanical Assembly Verification: Familiarity with inspecting and validating mechanical components (cabinets, locks, reels) for proper assembly and durability.
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Performing RCA to identify the source of defects or failures and implementing corrective actions.
  • Industry Standard Compliance: Experience working with industry regulatory companies, such as GLI and BMM.
  • Supplier Quality Management: Experience managing supplier quality, including auditing suppliers and ensuring they meet quality standards for components or materials used in production.
