Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Sunstates Security. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to security incidents in a professional and timely manner.
  • Conduct regular patrols of client properties to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Monitor and respond to alarms and other security systems as needed.
  • Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest security protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • One year of security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.
  • Have reliable means of transportation and communication.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Must regularly stand or walk for extended periods of time and distance.
  • Must always be accessible for phone communication.
  • Mentally analyze a situation, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure in the area of responsibility.
  • Read and understand written instructions and communicate information and ideas in clear and concise written form.
  • Exceptional Report Writing Skills.
  • Willing and able to work holidays and weekends.
  • Willing to work in all weather conditions.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Ability to pass a pre-hire criminal background and drug screen.
