About the Role

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a highly skilled Community Moderator to join our team. As a Community Moderator, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming sports community on B/R. This includes reviewing and moderating comments, polls, and content posted on the site, as well as monitoring and responding to tickets related to account issues and appeal processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and moderate comments, polls, and content posted on B/R
  • Suspend or revoke commenting privileges from users who violate the site's Community Guidelines
  • Monitor and respond to tickets related to account issues and appeal processes
  • Monitor and respond to moderation alerts from the editorial/programming teams
Requirements
  • One year of community moderation (or related) experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with all forms of digital and social media
  • Positive attitude, patient demeanor, and ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
  • Ability to multi-task without sacrificing attention to detail
  • Expert knowledge of the major U.S. and global sports covered by Bleacher Report
  • Proficiency with the following resources: Bleacher Report, Microsoft Office Suite, Zendesk, and Discord
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with product rollouts and frontline communication of changes/issues to/from users
  • Prior writing experience in sports journalism
