About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Home Health Care Coordinator Specialist to join our team at BrightStar Care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule clinician specialists with patients in a customer-driven and quality manner
  • Receive client referrals with completed information necessary to service and bill
  • Collaborate with Management to validate clinical information and appropriate scheduling
  • Maintain reports with current information and status, pending new clients and hospitalized clients
Requirements:
  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Medical Assistant (MA) Certification ideal
  • Minimum of 1 year in home health preferable
  • Excellent clerical, organization, and time management skills
  • Detailed knowledge of Managed Care, private insurance, home care rules and regulations
  • Able to successfully interact with people in a professional manner in face-to-face situations as well as by telephone
  • Excellent computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of authority and patients
