Job Summary

The Patient Service Representative is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the continuity of care for our patients. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Manage front office functions, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and processing insurance claims
  • Retrieve and scan clinical encounter forms and reports for use by clinic staff
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months of related job experience in a medical office or equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
