Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration in patients' medical records.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to medication.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse licensure.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing.
